Psychosensory Occupational Therapy
Sensory-informed mental health support
Hello and welcome! I am a specialist Occupational Therapist providing sensory-informed, mental health support for young people and adults. My mission is simple: to help people feel at home in their bodies, connected to themselves, connected to others, and able to experience fulfilment, joy and meaning in everyday life.
I provide 1:1 and group support both online and in-person from my base in Lancashire UK. I also offer tools, resources and structured programmes for people to access in their own time.
I always work in a trauma-informed, affirming and non-pathologising approach. I recognise the impact of lived experiences, while focusing on strengths rather than deficits. Everyone responds to and copes with life’s challenges differently, and my approach is designed to meet my clients exactly where they are and help them to grow at their own pace.
I provide support with challenges including:
-Sensory sensitivities or environment-related overwhelm
-Anxiety and low mood
- Stress and burnout
-Low self-esteem and confidence
-Chronic pain, fatigue or other energy limiting conditions
-School, college, university or work-related difficulties
-Changes in sleep, appetite or concentration
-Difficulties relating to executive functioning and memory
